I decided to read Conquer Your Campus an ebook targeted specifically towards college students doing pickup.
I myself go to a college so thats why I was interested in how they say college game is different from the typical big city club scene, since students in college have a reputation to uphold compared to the club scene where the next day no one remembers anyone. They talk about building a social reputation so you don't need to do cold approaches saying it is "awkward".
What do I think. Complete crap. There isn't such a thing as popularity in university. Universities are large, thousands and thousands of people, it would hard to get known. Sure theres popular people within each tiny social group of 20-30 people etc. but nothing like this book exaggerates it out to be. University isn't like high school where you have a reputation and everyone in the whole schools knows about it.
The university students I know mainly go clubbing or to a bar, not a dorm room party that can fit in a tiny amount of people. Many of my friends have picked up girls at a club, who in fact were from the same university. And they did this with the cold approach, and using proven Mystery Method tactics. So I don't buy into this books theory one bit.
The book tells you to use direct openers on the girls, talking about school, your interests, your personality and other boring stuff. Then directly telling the girl "hey lets hook up". A lot of people have tried this, and they know this gets you nowhere.
The whole ebook is just one big scam, a way to sell false hope and give bad pickup techniques and cash in on that. Some immature kid that wanted to make some cash online by writing an ebook filled with made up content.

No the book will not help you with anything, in fact it will probably hurt your chances of getting a girl. It`s all fake stuff written purely to make a quick buck.

Honestly, it sounds like you have a personal vendetta or something. You're not even accurate - where in the book does it tell you to say "let's hook up?"
Its a shame you wrote such a bad review because the book is the best thing I read since Double Your Dating and most importantly, it WORKED for me.

Obviously your one of the marketers for Conquer your Campus and you just wrote that little testimonial. Why else would someone google search "conquer your campus" after reading the book?

Written by Patrick, on 16-07-2008 00:48 Dude I got the book and honestly its ridden with spelling and grammer mistakes which lets you know that this is an unfinished book. its not even the final draft which shows that its not worth dumping your money on. I tried to get the "guarenteed" refund and have not gotten an emails back. Do not buy this book, believe me, after I right this post, this book will be availible for pirate on Limewire.

I'd like to skim through it, even though it sounds pretty shady. For you guys that don't think it is good, do you have recommendations for adjusting things like the Annihilation and Mystery Methods to college life? Is there a difference?
