A lot of guys think after you do your opener you have to do the "best friends test", or just as you walk off (do a roll-off) observe something about her. That works, but the best friends test has been done by millions, and sometimes I don't find something genuine to notice about her.
So as I roll off, I just shout OH SHIT U KNOW WHAT THAT REMINDS ME OF!!! and go into any story, any routine or any gambit. Think about it, when your chillin with your buddies you don't transition from one story to another, next time your out with your buddies just notice how stories change. Most of the time its "Oh yo man I just remembered...." "Oh shit man u know what reminds me of??"
Even if it's completely unrelated to your opener, its just something spontaneous popped into your head.
For example let's say you do the famous jealous gf opener. and towards the end:
girls: yeah i think he shouldnt take his girls shit
you: ok. *starting to walk off* *spontaneously turn back* omg you know what that reminds me of??? haha wow, i totally forgot about this. K couple weeks ago I was with my friend michelle and we were driving down blah blah blah.
